- Google OAuth data — name and email address if you sign in with Google
- Prediction data — match score predictions and champion selections you submit
- Pool activity — quinielas you create or join, invite codes you use
- Device tokens — push notification tokens registered to your device for match reminders
- Usage data — app events such as screens viewed, features used, and session information (collected via PostHog analytics)
- Technical data — device type, operating system, browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve {brand}.

- Display your predictions, scores, and leaderboard rankings

- Send push notifications for match reminders and pool activity (only if you have registered a device)

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Within your pool — your display name and prediction results are visible to other members of quinielas you join
- Service providers — we use trusted third-party services to operate the app, including Resend (transactional email), PostHog (analytics), Google (OAuth authentication), and Expo (push notifications). These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users
Data Retention
We retain your account information and prediction data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Push notification device tokens are deleted automatically when you log out of the app.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate information via your Profile screen
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data
- Opt-out of notifications — disable push notifications at any time through your device settings

Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
Children's Privacy
